Title: Like A Fish Needs A Bicycle And A Hot Air Balloon The painting is inspired by Irina Dunn’s famous catch phrase popularized by Gloria Steinem. Watching Steinem speak at the Women’s March on Washington was one of many moments of clarity in these past two years and I hope this whimsical tribute resonates with other feminists in turn. General Rochambeau supposedly used rock, paper, scissors to solve disputes and choose directions. Then it was sardonically coined by South Park as a ball kicking game. The symbolism is three fold. I had a career/life altering decision to make in order to feel fulfilled (Rochambeau), I wanted to kick corporatey businesses (Roshambo) and then a very special friend came along and gave me a direction option (hence the compass symbol portion of the tattoo). 36" x 36" Painting: Acrylic on Canvas. This is the 11th piece in my Dirty Beats collection. Inspired by the beauty of sound, the labor of love that is shown in the craftsmanship of cellos and, of course, Princess Bride. This painting reminds me of the amazing human potential and our potential unity through the love of music. Still available $1,200
